It's no secret that women mature much faster than men do. It's just something in our genetic makeup, I guess. But that doesn't mean it's okay for your boyfriend to be so immature that it gets on your nerves. Dating a guy who refuses to grow up can really put a strain on your relationship. Here are four signs your boyfriend will never grow up.
He still parties every weekend
If he's at least in his late 20s and still parties every weekend, he's pretty immature. Once you reach a certain age, you have to find a balance between having fun and being responsible. Instead of partying all the time, he should be more concerned about his career and relationship with you.
He just thinks about himself
It's a true sign of immaturity if all he thinks about is himself. If he is very selfish and is always more concerned about his needs more than yours, you need to question your relationship. Being with a guy who is so self-absorbed can get old real quick.
He lives at home with his mom
Unless he recently lost his job and can't pay his bills, there's no reason he should be living at home with his mom. Once a guy is past college, it's time for him to live on his own. If he doesn't seem to want to want to move out of his mom's basement, it's a sign he's afraid to become an adult.
He doesn't save his money
If your boyfriend spends his money as fast as he makes it, he's not ready to be an adult. A guy who never saves a dime he earns means he lacks responsibility and doesn't have plans for the future. All he cares about is buying the latest video game or hippest outfit to wear out on a Saturday night.
