Quite a few people have told me they'll kiss their partner once a day and during sex but that's the extent of it. While I fully believe in quality over quantity, that's nowhere near enough time spent kissing. Sadly, it seems as if people spend more time complaining or talking about others than they do with their mouth on their guy. It's time to change that. There are several places you need to start puckering up and I can almost guarantee it's going to reignite that spark.
On the beach
The kissing scene in the movie "From Here to Eternity" is undoubtedly romantic and many couples have tried to reenact it. They're lying in the sand making out as the water washes over them, but there's one problem with that scenario - it's usually unpleasant. It can be wet and cold, you can get covered in seaweed and let's not even get into the sand that creeps into places you didn't even realize was possible. However, kissing on the beach, especially at night, is one of the best places to share a kiss. Skip the mess by staying away from the tide and by laying on a blanket.
In the rain
So it's cliché and a bit corny, but it also has the potential to be highly romantic and a huge turn-on. Rain is pouring down, you're wet, your clothes are sticking to you and you're pressed against a guy you're attracted to. How can it not be a perfect time to share a kiss? One mistake many ladies make is that they try to plan it or actually ask their guy if they can do it. Let it happen naturally and it'll be so much better.
At night in a park
There's something about lounging on a blanket in the park and looking up at the stars while sitting next to a guy you like that makes you feel like a smitten teenager. Don't waste the moment. If he doesn't plant one on you, lean over and kiss him instead.
In a dressing room
I know this one seems a bit odd, but it's also a bit risque. Most places have gender specific dressing rooms, but occasionally it's possible for you and your guy to be in the same one together. Throw on a hot outfit, ask his opinion, then share a steamy smooch before heading out.
In the sky
There's something incredible about being in the sky and looking down at the ground right before or after you share a kiss. Whether you're flying at night to go on vacation, you're at a "restaurant in the sky" at sunset or you're going skydiving during the day, take advantage of the opportunity to share a sweet kiss.
On your tip-toes
I'm only 5'1, so unless I'm standing on something while I'm kissing a guy, I'm usually on my tip-toes if he's not leaning over to me. It can really be a sweet moment between the two of you. Don't worry about always leaving your heels on regardless of your height. Some of the best kisses I've had have been when I've kicked off my heels and went with the natural height difference.
On the dance floor
I've had a lot of great kisses on the dance floor. Maybe it's the music or just seeing my guy know how to move his body to the music, but kisses on a dance floor are usually very passionate and/or romantic. Many just grab their guy and go out on the floor to dance, but take a few moments to share a kiss while you're at it.
Under lights
I'm convinced one of the reasons so many get especially lovey-dovey around the holidays is because they're kissing while standing under Christmas lights. Sure kissing under mistletoe is tradition, but there's something about kissing under lights (regardless of the holiday or occasion) that can make your stomach do back flips.
There's a lot of benefits of kissing, one of which is that it can create more intimacy between you and your guy. I remember a lot of every day kisses, but some of the best memories I have involve kisses that happened in some of the aforementioned places. A few still make my stomach somersault a bit. Embrace the opportunity to create a blush worthy memory with a guy you care about.
