I think these people have too much money to spend that kind of money on this. An animal is very content with the basics in life, i.e. food, water, shelter, exercise, an occasional doggy treat....and your LOVE! That is what makes animals so attractive to us; they are easy to please and take care of and people are not always that easy.

Its great that your taken care of your pet...but they dont really need all of this. AND REMEMBER ALL THE ANIMALS OUT THERE THAT ARE HOMELESS AND DYING EVERYDAY!!
      • cj 2 months ago
Well, then go get a dog or cat from a shelter and save a life!!!
      • Tanker 2 months ago
I'm gonna have to say you are the dumb one. Instead of caring for the animals that are homeless and dying why dont you think about the children that are homeless and dying. You are the true definition of the "C" word!
      • Dominus 2 months ago
I don't think anyone is saying homeless children aren't important, but as the article was about pets and spending god knows what on their luxury I think People made a good point about pointing out, if you care about animals, why not save one that's in a shelter.

the two women's expressions and voices intonations are . just. priceless. I needed a good laugh today ... and reassurance that even though I'm not rich, at least I still have my sanity.

Best comment so far. They have to be living in neverland.

It's a dog. It'd be happy with a fenced yard, a frisbee, and food and water. That's what a dog really likes. I've been to these things and the happiest dogs I've seen there are the ones leaving it.

Ok, I am all for taking extraordinary care of my pets, but they are animals. They don't need all of those fancy things at a boarding place- give them small rooms with comfy beds, good quality DOG FOOD, a big yard with plenty of play things (pools, agility courses, balls, tug ropes, etc) and people to play with them and socialize them. There are just so many animals in shelters that don't even get basic care, and we have people dying their dogs hair - come on now!

Some people treat their dogs better than their children.

literally laughed out loud at work at how ridiculous this is. I mean, obedience training and grooming- okay, i get it. A bed time story, and feather hair extensions? lmao
    • ssquirrely  •  Half Moon Bay, California  •  2 months ago
This ridiculous, I love my doggie, but give all this extra misspent $$ to the animal shelter, or feed some kids breakfast that go without it. Overloveing is not good for the dog.
