You won't gain any more control by tossing around lies or innuendo. The only way to win is by fighting a fair fight. That way, even if you lose, you'll still have your pride.
You could get a break from your many obligations and have time to catch up on old projects. Try to be thoughtful and caring to a friend who might need a shoulder to lean on. You may be a little distant from your love partner while you're busy thinking about the practical side of life.
