For better or worse, it's the people who disobey the rules who make the news. Today pay attention to the people on the fringes, the folks whom everyone else gossips about. These disobedient people certainly aren't role models, but their position in society is important. You can learn more about following your own rules and making things work for you -- not everything has to be done for the sake of others, you know. Learn to march to the beat of your own drummer.
Make sure you immediately set up some time in your calendar for a mini-retreat for yourself -- thirty minutes in nature to de-stress or a quick cup of tea at the local coffee shop will be fine. Whatever it is, avoid the crowds, and use the time to restore your energy in solitude. It's the end of the week, so it's especially important you take this time to unwind and refresh yourself for the weekend ahead.
