Overview

If you feel like you're working really hard to help others, but no one seems to be appreciating your efforts, don't think that gives you the right to stop helping people! It doesn't. After all, if helping others was your true motivation, then recognition is irrelevant. A good deed is truly a reward in itself -- if that's not the case, and you're honest about the fact that you just want the positive feedback, then so be it. But you are missing out by not cultivating your more altruistic side.
