Be careful not to place too much faith in fair-weather friends. Too many folks are eager to be there when things look fun and exciting (and easy), but then they quickly get lost when things start to get rough. People who have no follow-through will not offer you anything more than someone to talk to when you take a break from your efforts. If this is all you require, that's fine. But if you're really looking for partners, keep looking.
While the inanimate parts of your home may fall into some disrepair at this time, the living, breathing parts of your domestic life will continue to flourish. Maintain this high standing with some tenderness towards your garden and love towards your family.
