Overview
If you're going to be working in a team with other people today, you can expect to be held back in terms of your progress. One team member is going to be a little bit more interested in improving his or her social status than in doing what needs to be done. It stinks to have to depend on other people, but resist the urge to take over their share of the work for them. Just stick to your own responsibilities. It might take longer to get things done, but you can't go setting dangerous precedents.
