Test a recent hypothesis without letting anyone else in on your plan -- your expectations could influence their actions and poison your results. Right now you need everyone to be as 'real' as they can be. This isn't a good time for you to encourage anyone to stir up trouble.
You could get a break from your many obligations and have time to catch up on old projects. Try to be thoughtful and caring to a friend who might need a shoulder to lean on. You may be a little distant from your love partner while you're busy thinking about the practical side of life.
