Your local government or another type of bureaucratic organization is a necessary part of your day today, but it's not an experience that you should worry about too much. You like doing your part, and being a responsible citizen will make you feel good. But try not to get too deeply involved, or you could get stuck within the system. Do whatever you can to expedite the situation -- avoid contesting citations or fighting battles that you have no chance of winning.
Make sure you immediately set up some time in your calendar for a mini-retreat for yourself -- thirty minutes in nature to de-stress or a quick cup of tea at the local coffee shop will be fine. Whatever it is, avoid the crowds, and use the time to restore your energy in solitude. It's the end of the week, so it's especially important you take this time to unwind and refresh yourself for the weekend ahead.
