Instead of calling them on it or letting yourself get frustrated, just move on. Skip over them and do what you were planning on doing before they came onto the scene. You don't really need them anyway.
The hard work you've been putting into your job or school will most likely pay off today. Enjoy the praise and flattery you receive from colleagues or coworkers for your devotion to finishing a long project. Reward yourself and clear your mind by taking a small weekend trip. Take this time think about your next course of action and what you want to accomplish in the coming year.
