Stop playing word games. They may be fun now -- no, they will be fun now, for the moment, at least -- but they're dangerous, too, and once the game is over, you'll be left wondering what they really meant by that, and they'll feel the same way. Wouldn't it be easier and more efficient to just be sure that every word you exchange is direct, honest and to the point? Oh, sure it would.
Make sure you immediately set up some time in your calendar for a mini-retreat for yourself -- thirty minutes in nature to de-stress or a quick cup of tea at the local coffee shop will be fine. Whatever it is, avoid the crowds, and use the time to restore your energy in solitude. It's the end of the week, so it's especially important you take this time to unwind and refresh yourself for the weekend ahead.
