One of your current authority figures isn't any wiser than you are in a particular situation -- so do not let them contradict a suggestion of yours that you know will work. There is a good chance that they have gotten a bit lazy about exploring new ideas. They think they know it all, case closed. You can choose to let them go ahead and do what they think is best, or push harder for your idea. But keep in mind that if you don't speak up, you will suffer more than they will.
Today is not a good day for investments of any kind. You'll most likely find it hard to communicate and relate to others. However, it's a great time to stimulate your mind. Read a good book or take out your chess set. Staying low-key will leave little room for upsets.
