Starting today, stand up for your own desires and pick the path that leads to your own healthy self-esteem. Sure, it will require you to push back once in a while, and run the risk of upsetting someone. But so what? They can't think it's normal to always be doing what they want to do. Give them a reality check.
Don't let your mind get to you today. Feelings of being threatened and frightened will soon pass. Take short trips if you're traveling. Having a partner to fill the void is not in your favor today.
