You can no longer get away with having wishy-washy feelings about someone today -- you have to pick a side and proclaim either your loyalty or your opposition to what they are trying to do. Do not make a dramatic announcement to get your point across, just state your decision and carry on. There is no need to add drama to a situation that may already be a little tense. You can't try so hard to save someone's feelings anymore -- it is getting you nowhere.
You could get a break from your many obligations and have time to catch up on old projects. Try to be thoughtful and caring to a friend who might need a shoulder to lean on. You may be a little distant from your love partner while you're busy thinking about the practical side of life.
