If anyone is known for doing absolutely everything they can for the ones they love, it's you. So now, when a loved one comes to you for help, there's no reason to believe that you'll act any differently. This, however, may be a situation that's trickier than the last few you've dealt with, especially since it will be quite unexpected. If you can help without inuring yourself or your reputation, do it. If not, bow out and find someone less involved who can.
Make sure you immediately set up some time in your calendar for a mini-retreat for yourself -- thirty minutes in nature to de-stress or a quick cup of tea at the local coffee shop will be fine. Whatever it is, avoid the crowds, and use the time to restore your energy in solitude. It's the end of the week, so it's especially important you take this time to unwind and refresh yourself for the weekend ahead.
