Guilt can be a powerful force in your life -- more powerful than you may be willing to admit. It's tough to know when to obey your guilt and when to tell it to take a hike -- if you're feeling the urge to beg off new responsibilities, social events or other commitments, go ahead. The guilt you feel for taking the 'easy road' is minimal compared to the relief you'll feel at just doing what you want to do for a while. Don't skip out on big responsibilities, but say 'no' to little stuff.
Be sure to continue your careful spending habits today or you may end up wasting money on something unnecessary. Your home life might be disrupted if you turn a discussion of differing opinions with a family member into an argument because of stubbornness. Be sure to get some physical exercise to work out anxiety, even if it's just a walk.
