Being of service to another person can be a very complicated thing. Very often, people offer their help only because they are expecting a reward of some kind -- even if that reward is just to be able to boast about being generous. Today, coming to the aid of other people must be done for its own sake. If you're helping someone only for the reward, then it would be better to not help at all. Only step in if you don't expect anything in return. It's not always about reciprocity.
Don't let your mind get to you today. Feelings of being threatened and frightened will soon pass. Take short trips if you're traveling. Having a partner to fill the void is not in your favor today.
