When you enter a very familiar situation today, try not to control it. You might know exactly what to do, but this is a group situation, and everyone needs to feel a part of the decision-making process. You should step back and let someone else take charge. But it's also important not to bend over backwards to get along with everyone -- there is no sense in wasting energy on trying to charm people who are more interested in getting work done than in making an emotional connection.
