Don't spend too much dwelling on your own thoughts about the future -- it will only isolate you from the here and now. You have to let yourself get caught up in the moment every once in a while. You cannot always be reflective or ponder the ins and outs of what you should do next.
Don't let your mind get to you today. Feelings of being threatened and frightened will soon pass. Take short trips if you're traveling. Having a partner to fill the void is not in your favor today.
