Today you will be the beacon that all others follow. Your leadership potential has slowly (but surely) been maturing, and now you will be able to step confidently into the role as leader. This is a new beginning for you, something you can really sink your teeth into. So go ahead and get excited! Your responsibilities might not rival those of world leaders, but they will be important to you -- and that is all that matters. It is okay to admit that you don't know it all.
Make sure you immediately set up some time in your calendar for a mini-retreat for yourself -- thirty minutes in nature to de-stress or a quick cup of tea at the local coffee shop will be fine. Whatever it is, avoid the crowds, and use the time to restore your energy in solitude. It's the end of the week, so it's especially important you take this time to unwind and refresh yourself for the weekend ahead.
