If someone really needs to know something about what is going on in your life, then by all means tell them. But if they don't -- don't! You will find a way of letting them know that their involvement is not required, and their opinions are not being solicited.
Don't let your mind get to you today. Feelings of being threatened and frightened will soon pass. Take short trips if you're traveling. Having a partner to fill the void is not in your favor today.
