Acknowledge that they have issues before you go on and on about yours. Ask the questions and listen more to them. You will learn valuable insight from what they say.
Don't let your mind get to you today. Feelings of being threatened and frightened will soon pass. Take short trips if you're traveling. Having a partner to fill the void is not in your favor today.
