Overview
There will be plenty of help offered to you today, but you don't have to take it if you don't want it. The only thing you have to avoid is refusing aid on the basis of shame or embarrassment. This is no time to sacrifice quality for image. Saving face is a waste of time, anyway. However, if you feel entirely capable of finishing what you started and see the offers of help as an insult, refuse them all with a courteous 'no thank you' and a smile.
