If you want to volunteer your time, do it for the right reasons. Don't just do it because someone important asked you to. You cannot brag about being selfless if you're doing it only to look good or impress someone. Besides, there's no point in helping others if your true goal is to help yourself. Make sure you are honest about your motivations. Everyone will respect you a lot more if you are true to yourself and do what you really want to do.
Today is not a good day for investments of any kind. You'll most likely find it hard to communicate and relate to others. However, it's a great time to stimulate your mind. Read a good book or take out your chess set. Staying low-key will leave little room for upsets.
