If you're starting to think about your baby registry - or even if you're planning on using hand-me-downs from baby #1 - we found new baby toys at the Toy Fair 2011 that every new mom should know about.
Most of these won't be on the market until this spring or fall, but keep your eye out for these:
1. The Tiny Love Gymini Move and Play
You might want to delete the Fisher Price play mat from your registry and hold out for the newest Tiny Love mat, set to debut in Fall 2011. What makes this play mat so innovative is that the arch connector slides along the bars, allowing you to adjust the height for different developmental phases and activities.

2. Plan Toys Baby Activity Gym
If you're more of a minimalist type of person, this is the perfect activity gym for you. Made from high-quality wood, this tripod gym easily collapses for compact storing, and the attached Plan Toys rattles and grasping toys can be removed and played with long after your baby can sit up. It should be on the market in March.
Find more about it here.
3. Pudge Rattles by Dandelion Earth-Friendly Goods
These adorable new rattles are made from pesticide-free bamboo and stuffed with recycled PET from bottles that would normally sit in landfills. Plus, each one is individually made by women in Shanghai, China, signed by the artisan and then sent over for rigorous safety testing. They should be available in May.
