3 Skin Care Musts During Pregnancy

1. Hydrate!
Moisturizing your skin religiously is absolutely key for healthy and great looking skin. It can also help decrease your risk of stretch marks. Remember, stretch marks don't just happen on your belly! Apply a deeply hydrating moisturizing cream or oil twice a day from the neck down, paying close attention to your chest, belly, hips and upper legs.
2. Don't Get Irritated.
Pregnant skin is often more sensitive than it was pre-baby. This means avoiding heavily fragranced lotions and soaps. You also might start to itch when wearing wool or some synthetic fabrics. Stick to breathable, natural fabrics.
3. Wash a Lot.
A lot of women get more oily during pregnancy, giving your skin that unpleasant shine. Some might call this the "glow" but I'm not sold on that term here. A lot of harsh cleansers or acne treatments are off limits for pregnant women, so just pick a gentle cleanser and use it twice a day.
