4 Tips For How To End A First Date

    Honesty

If you're not into the other person don't say you'll call. Don't say you'll see them again, or "we should do this again." Skip the handshake, hug, or the awkward kiss, and simply say, "Well, (insert name), have a good night."

    Transportation

Have your own transportation! Until you're more comfortable with this new person, and have been on a few dates together, you need to get yourself to and from the date. You both will be free to come and go. And there won't be that awkward moment of trying to get someone out of your car.

    The Second Date

So, why would this tip come before the end-of-date kiss? Well, because you should have the second date seeking done before the end of date goodbye. If you feel like the date went well, maybe suggest something similar to your date - take inspiration from a movie you watched together or something that you spotted while you were out.

    The Kiss

Pay attention to your date's body language throughout the date. If you're into your date, make subtle moves like brushing their arm or getting close. That way, when the time comes for a first date kiss, it won't be a surprise. Tongue isn't required (and usually not recommended for the first date) - a soft kiss on the lips works just fine. Show your date some respect!
