Ass Over Teakettle--the Great Equalizer

I have a theory about how things equal out when profits and power get too great. Now, the Law of Hell is "the more you have, the more you want." So those on top have just about everything, and they want still more. Well, profits just keep roaring in and somebody gets careless, or a valve sticks, or some damned thing or another, and it's ass over teakettle. I believe the Good Lord is behind it, as the Great Equalizer. Then everybody gets to wash rocks, or some mundane thing, to make a living. I don't think the Good Lord believes in progress, particularly when it increases the profit margin of those in power and control. "When you're up against a bruiser and you're getting knocked about, GRIN!"
