Erik L. Goldman is the editor & co-founder of Holistic Primary Care-News for Health & Healing and the Heal Thy Practice conferences. For the past 12 years Holistic Primary Care has been educating health care professionals as well as health-conscious consumers about safe, effective, non-pharma alternatives for the prevention & treatment of common chronic disorders and for promotion of healthy living. Through its print publication, online learning center and in-person conferences, Holistic Primary Care seeks to build information bridges between the world of holistic alternatives & the medical mainstream.
Erik began his medical journalism career in 1985, after graduating from the State University of New York, Binghamton with a dual bachelor's degree in biology and philosophy. From 1990 to 2000, he was the New York Bureau Chief for International Medical News Group, a division of Elsevier Health Sciences, that publishes 10 independent specialty-oriented medical newspapers. He has also worked as a freelance medical writer/editor on a diverse spectrum of projects and publications, ranging from pharmaceutical marketing campaigns and to medical atlases and academic medical text books.
