How did the Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez love story happen?

Justin Bieber and his gal Selena Gomez showed some slight PDA while in the crowd at the Billboard Music Awards. The young couple posed for pics, but cameras also caught Selena with her hand on the teen heartthrob's knee.


Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez both won big at the Teen Choice Awards 2011, but where the heck are they going to put all the surfboards? The couple get the male and female hottie awards. As one would expect Harry Potter franchise went out with a wizardly bang by winning the Choice Summer movie and a bunch of other awards. Taylor Swift was the big draw by winning the Ultimate Choice Award and Fashion Icon. My question is how do all these adult type movies like The Hangover II win awards? I will say that Ed Helms gave a nice speech, but LL Cool J really got the crowd rocking by having them all throw a hissy fit, by having them yell, "Get Out Of My Room". LL really does have staying power.
No surprise that Taylor cleans up in the Coutry category and glad to see Tom Felton win for Movie Villain, I think he really did a great job with his character in the Harry Potter series. Harry Potter really overshadows Twilight this year and even I am happy for Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson to get their awards. The CW is just cleaning up in the teen category with Gossip Girl and The Vampire Diaries taking most of the TV awards. Justin Bieber though as Choice TV Villain? Nice to see Demi Lovato on the list with Skyscraper, and Selena Gomez and The Scene get a bunch of music awards. She really is huge in putting up the points for the double-double (music and tv). Rebecca Black gets an award as well, I wonder how people actually feel about that though? So any category that you do not agree with the winner?





Justin Bieber was full of surprises at the August 7 Teen Choice Awards. The Teen Dream showed up sporting, among other bizarre things, a sparse but clearly discernible growth of upper lip fuzz. This wasn't Biebs' first attempt at starting a stache. What is intriguing about his sudden decision to cultivate some facial hair is the timing. Is JB growing a mustache to impress Selena Gomez? Or are his motivations more complicated?
This isn't the first time the Baby singer has tried to trick himself out with a more testosterone-fueled look. Back in the day-circa March 2011-he abruptly announced that he would "quit shaving for a month so you all can see my mustache...I'm pumped."
As it turned out, the Never Say Never star's new look never progressed beyond the scraggle stage. At the time, it was rumored that Gomez didn't want him to grow a mustache. Selena herself stepped up and corrected this misconception by explaining that she wasn't averse to the idea of facial hair. She just didn't want him to grow it for only a month.
"You've got to commit to growing a mustache," said Selena at the time. "You can't just be like, 'Let me now do a little one,' Of course I did tell him that."
So much for the past. What about the present? Has JB decided to seriously "commit to growing a mustache?" And if so, why now? Is it to show Selena Gomez that he can? Is it because of his reported fears that someday, his increasingly famous singer/actress girlfriend will dump him for an older guy, like her former crush Shia LaBeouf. (Eeeww!) Or is it in response to the pre-TCA Jelena breakup rumors that depicted a childish Justin Bieber as "a little 17-year-old crying and saying he loves her." Ouch. Although the breakup rumors were obviously untrue, perhaps JB is trying to reclaim what he perceives as lost face-not to mention a damaged sense of masculinity-by growing this mustache? It's possible.
