I have a commodity for sale. I invested my knowledge, experience, some savings, 35 years of time, but for the past six months, I haven't received a nickel in return for my newly published book. I'm dirt poor, and it looks like I've been left for dead. Well, if no one wishes to buy my commodity, which I think is pretty good, then I don't wish to buy their commodity either. No further education, no cars, no pizza, no I-phones, nothing on credit, no vacations, nothing. We can all sit around on our butts, due to sluggish demand. I'll just have to apply the brakes harder. But if you'll give me an even break, I'll return the favor. That's how the economy really works.
