Beauty note: Complement matte lips with fresh, flawless skin by way of Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Moisturizer …
Conventional beauty wisdom holds that warm weather calls for barely there makeup. This season, however, you'd be wise to defy convention. A host of designers-including Haider Ackermann, Dries Van Noten, and Angela Missoni-showed bright, bold lips on their spring runways. Violet, fuchsia, neon orange…these mouths didn't whisper, they roared. Our favorite shade is MAC's Ablaze, which practically redefines coral lipstick; there's not even a whiff of Palm Beach society matron in this electric shade. Instead, it suggests the other side of Florida: a South American heiress lounging by the pool in Miami-or Judy Garland (who loved a loud pucker) crooning at the Fountainebleau, circa 1959. For maximum impact, lay it on thick, and leave the rest of the face nearly naked. It's almost summer, after all.
