    A little tennis-fan birdie we spoke to called the women's top 8 "a crapshoot" as to who's the likeliest to win at any time, and recent coverage has suggested that the world women's #1 ranking may not mean much.

    The men's draw could provide a few surprises, too - maybe not on the level of Jimmy Connors' fairytale run in 1991 at the age of 39, but you never know. Will Andy Murray repeat his Olympic thrashing of Roger Federer and advance to the final instead of the #1 seed? Could David Nalbandian (shown here complaining to an umpire at Wimbledon) play spoiler to Argentina's Juan Martin Del Potro?
