Where Does Money for Animal Activists in India Come From? P.S.Remesh Chandran, Trivandrum

Has anyone enquired where all this money for the animal activists comes from? They protest all over India, carry out expensive lobbying, move MLAs and MPs to pass dog legislations which all needs money and rigorously oppose government moves to catch packs of man-attacking dogs in the streets from the southernmost state of Kerala to the northernmost state of Kashmir. Everywhere in India dogs are attacking human beings in the streets. News coming from every Indian city and state carry details of dog attacks on street walking human beings. Diseases like dengue and chikungunya spread all over India due to dogs since they act as animal reservoir hosts to these Arboviral infections. India feeds two nations- 100 crore human beings and 150 crore dogs, inevitably leading to food shortage in Asia as Obama observed. Treatment of wounds caused by dog attacks cost the country at least 1000 crore rupees. Prevention and treatment of dengue costs 25000 crores each year, met by ordinary people, as Immunoglobin is now being sold at 16000 rupees per vial per person. Loss of man power due to these diseases will come to nearly 50000 crores. Prevention and treatment of rabies would come costing nearly 5000 crores. Feeding all dogs in India would need 500000 crores each year. This is the exact position for this country the enemies of India wanted it to fall into. Why destroy this nation through bombs and terrorism when there is the easiest way of doing it through animal activists who act exactly like terrorists? The only thing one wants to know is where their money is coming from. Is it another way terrorist money from abroad is brought to India? Government perfectly well knows as well as the people that terrorist money is being channeled to India in tons and that when one route is exposed another is invented. Never have the people of India doubted or investigated the sources of funds for the animal activists groups of India. They are fanatically persistent in resisting the demand for killing man-attacking dogs as if they had received money for resisting this intensely and paralyzing the nation through the single way of filling it with dogs. No similar activism was exhibited in obstructing the killing of cows, oxen, buffaloes, horses, pigs, goats, sheep and all such vegetarian and useful animals. In fact almost all animal activists in India eat these poor animals to their stomachs' fill, ascend to their roofs and proclaim that dogs shall not be killed. Therefore it is not their kindness, humanity or benevolence for animals that is manifested in this amorous dog love but the responsibility for paralyzing this nation as a repayment for the foreign money, if any, they received. There are hundreds of shady organizations in the world which are ready to send money to dog lovers once their one-click proforma is filled in. Most of them are fronts for other clandestine operations. It is time the government investigates animal activists' funding in India.
