- Why writing is a form of personal therapy
Writing is important.
Not only for ourself but it is a method to share emotion, thoughts and ideas.
I think is not a real therapy but is a good method to understand ourselves, fell better and explain our point of view.
Sometimes spoken word are not sufficient to transmit the correct and right concept. So in necessary put it on a text. In that case we can read, think e ri-elaborate what we thinks.
We are not only blood and flesh but we have mind and spirit so "write"is like build a toughts. "In the beginning was the Word…" with words we can transmit and we can "create" entire worlds, generate characters and entire form of live. Very exciting.
For this reason writing is not only a pass-time, hobby or therapy but is a responsibility. The meaning of what we write can hurt or destroy people (for example Hitler's Mein Kampf or Quran) or help with encouragement, and love.
Write a book meaning sacrifice and a lot of time.
At the end we can say "Finally is ended!" and see what we wrote.
"Verba volant, scripta manen" said the Latins a long time ago so, if we want to strengthen our essence we must write.
