Beauty Guru: Holiday beauty wish list

Never ask a grown up for their Christmas list. They'll morph into a kid and go bonkers!

Brazilian Wavy Hair. Without any shame, I admit that I'm a diehard hair weave addict. It's convenient, versatile, looks great, and keeps my natural hair safe and healthy underneath. However, because I usually wear my installments at least two to three months at a time, I am VERY particular about the quality of hair. My most recent purchase cost me upwards of $300 for three bundles of four ounces of pure Brazilian in its natural state. Over the nine months that I've had it installed and reinstalled, I can honestly say that I really love it. The hair arrives unprocessed with a smooth texture but course enough to blend undetectably with my own. I can wet it for a wavy change of pace or straighten and curl it for the celebrity look. Because it comes in its natural state, the colors choices are limited to browns and dark browns so I do all of the coloring myself. When it's time for maintenance, I wash it at home with Pantene Color Protection shampoo and conditioners, dry it, curl it, watch it bounce and remain humble at the compliments. The most affordable Brazilian hair that I've found comes from http://www.genesisvirginhair.com with bundles as low as $70. No doubt, do I recommend this hair and the company to anyone that would rather have quality and affordability at the same time; but beware, because this hair is highly sought after AND pocket friendly; it sells out within hours.

Illamasqua Intense lip glosses are my second covets; one in Indulge which is this saucy, luscious, hot pink hue and the other in Fierce, a sexy, intense, deep purple shade. Although both colors appear wet on the lips. they stay in place throughout the day and won't slip, slide, or run. Furthermore, the shine intensity is unbelievable. It's like the sun reflecting off a mirror that's been painted onto your lips. I'm a custom junkie, especially when it comes to lip products so I tend to do a lot of mixing and experimenting to create new shades. While in New York on a recent visit, I probably took a bite out of every Sephora in the Big Apple, and each time I'd combine these two glosses together and join them on my kissers before exiting. Every time I literally received so many looks, compliments and even caused a few gapers delays. Albeit, I'm normally a "hot" girl rocking warm toned shades like bricks, oranges or reds, I really gave in to these cool tones that literally glistened across my lips and seemed to illuminate my face. For PI-YOW look at me lips, I suggest these glosses and if Saint Nick knows what's good for him, then he better have these two babies in his bag of tricks this year…or else! Be nice all year and wait on Santa or a naughty, anxious brat and pick them up for yourself for about $25 at select Sephora's or online at http://www.illamasqua.com.

Curling Wand - The last item on my wish list is the Remington T-Studio Pearl Ceramic Curling Wand. One of my favorite pastimes is watching how-to videos on YouTube; one day while researching the best ways to create long barrel curls in Brazilian weave, I came across a video with a young lady producing the most amazing styles using a curling wand. It was at that point that I discovered a world beyond the flat iron and way beyond that old curling iron I only bring out for company. The curling wand is unique because it doesn't split open like the flat/curling iron; you wrap the hair around the wand. It's cone shaped and the end is smaller than the top to create different dimensional curls. What I absolutely love about the wand is it gives me the chance to compose "BIG" hair which I am utterly infatuated with! After separating and curling small sections all over my head, I can either finger or rake comb the curls into a voluminous masterpiece. My specific wish you ask, a 1"-1.5" or large barrel wand. Both are pink and black, come with heat protective gloves, go up to 410F salon temperature and equipped with a four year warranty for only $24.99-29.99. http://www.remingtonproducts.com; http://www.Target.com; http://www.Sallybeauty.com.

One last wish, please have my items professionally wrapped. *Smooches*

Tell me guys, what are you wishing for this Christmas or do you have any feedback on the items I want? I'd love to hear about it.
