As a beauty guru, I have tried many products throughout my years. Many products have failed but many have achieved exactly what we women want them to do -- WORK! This holiday season I am so excited to share with you my wish list for all of your beauty product needs in the upcoming year.
Face Wash and Moisturizer: Cetaphil
After years of trying multiple skin cleaning regimes and getting so-so results, I can say I am finally done searching for my skin cleaner and daily moisturizer. Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser has been on the market for 60 years and I can understand why. The cleanser is very mild but cleans your skin without stripping the natural oils and leaving your face in dire need of a heavy duty moisturizer. It removes your makeup and dirt easily. For years I have thought my skin was acne prone and used acne wash after acne wash. On a whim, I overthrew the thought of using an acne wash and decided to try a skin experiment. Instead of using harsh washes for my face, I went for a product that known for its non-irritating properties and recommended by more dermatologist than any other brand. Well, those skin doctors know what they are talking about. I guess the degree they earned does really grant them some knowledge on the subject. If you are asking for or purchasing any skin cleanser this holiday season, I recommend Cetaphil.
Hair Accessory of the Season: The Bridal Headpiece
Winter can be such a boring fashion season to me. How many times can you make a sweater and leggings set look cute? The cold weather makes me want to wrap up in a heavy a coat and fling a blanket over my legs and hibernate. What could make the season pass any quicker you ask: The Bridal Headpiece. Who says you can only have all eyes on you one day out of your life? Or maybe two, three or four…. Who's counting? Why not flock your hair with one of these beauties? It might just make me feel like getting out of my house this season.
Lotion: Poison Apple Apothecary Pirate Anne's Embalming Cream
This lotion smells wonderful. It truly is my favorite scent right now. The Poison Apple Apothecary knows what they are doing too when making lotions. It's thick but not sticky. It absorbs quickly and leaves your skin smooth for hours. Also if you want to buy American, she's right here from Georgia.
Happy Holidays, Gals! Hope you get all you want and don't forget to help those less fortunate than yourselves!
