3 stylish girls model summer trends.
As much as we love the art and fanfare of the runway, we're more likely to take inspiration from the real (and very cool) girls we see everyday in New York. This month, we parked ourselves in Tribeca and a few blocks from our office in Union Square and snapped away with a camera. Amidst the morning commuters and the lunch crowd we spotted three beauty styles you have to try this season. They're so breezily chic that you won't look like you're trying, and you might just find yourself in front of a street photographer's lens.
Brights lips are so in this season. Take a page from Anna's book for a wearable day l …
Anna, Assistant Director, RH Gallery
Beauty Secret: "I love using bronzer as an eyeshadow, especially with a bold lip." Why we love her look: Colorblocking isn't exactly a new trend but we still rarely see it done with beauty. The contrast of her bright red-orange lip (the must have color of the season) with her bold blue scarf caught our attention right away. Plus, a statement lip is the easiest way to look chic on the fly, and feels especially fresh with a bare face.
Get the look: Copy Anna's bold red-orange lip with By Terry's Rouge Terrybly in Frenetic Vermilion. Keep the rest of your skin natural with a BB Cream like Dr. Jart's Premium Beauty Balm. The primer, moisturizer, sunscreen, and serum smoothes imperfections without appearing made-up.

Kalyca shows us the right way to wear bright eyeliner
Kalyca, Fashion Editor and Founder, RomeoStyle.com
Beauty Secret: "Keep your eyebrows maintained! It will brighten your whole face." Kalyca's go-to spot for eyebrow waxing: Haven Spa in Soho. Why we love her look: A distant cousin of colorblocking, the matchy matchy trend is gaining steam this spring. We can't get enough of Kalyca's coordinated eyeliner and nail polish, plus lipstick and head wrap. Consider it the cool version of a twinset.
Get the look: Steal Kalyca's blue on blue liner and nail polish with stila's sparkle waterproof liquid liner in Curacao and Color Club polish in Chelsea Girl. Her lipstick is MAC's Pink Pony and she's wearing Bare Minerals mineral foundation.

The New Crown Braid
We can't help but love this fresh hairstyle for summer!
Frederica, Project Manager for ScanLife
Beauty Secret: "I've been using Beauty Blenders forever. My friend in Paris who's a makeup artist used one and she bought it for me." Why we love her look: At first glance we thought Frederica's hair was a simple crown braid but on closer inspection we found it was a bit more unusual. The braid was actually created by knotting two sections of hair from once side to the other, adding pieces as she went across her forehead. It appears complicated but is actually quite simple. Paired with bangs swept to either side of her center part and a sweeping maxi skirt, the effect was very Greek goddess.
Get the look: If your hair is silky, a texturizing spray like Ojon's volume advance Volumizing Styling Spray will help the knotted braid hold. Tame frizzies on a humid day with a serum like Kérastase Cristalliste Lumiere Liquide.
