Lisa D'Amato: It was an amazing experience the first time, but a catch-22 for sure. People only saw one side of me, which was a bit hard to swallow. My personality is big, but my heart's even bigger, and that got overshadowed by my wild child personality. I've been working so hard since my original season, and this isn't my first rodeo, so I was a little scared. Ultimately, I thought my heart and drive were really well-depicted this time around.
RB: On one episode's challenge, you had to make your own perfume. What were you thinking about when competing?
LD: I was so stoked for that challenge, and really wanted my scent to exude fun. I wanted whoever was wearing it to smile and feel ready to go out and have fun with friends. We all work so hard, and life is hard, so I wanted to use the fragrance to let loose, enjoy life, and be optimistic.

RB: The resulting Dream Come True scent was created with all the contestants' creations in mind and seems to share a lot with yours. What kind of girl does it epitomize?
LD: It's the girl who the whole world is against, but with faith in oneself and hard work, anything's possible. Look at me-I don't think anyone thought I'd win All-Stars.

RB: Scent is so important in our personal histories. Do you have a strong, early memory of perfume?
LD: I loved my mom's perfume. I remember putting it on before class in third grade because I had a crush on my teacher. I think I realized I must have used too much when he came to my desk and said, "Honey, don't spray that perfume again tomorrow, okay?"
