Grab a scrub: With dryer skin comes duller skin. So fall skin is a great time to get religious about peel pads. My current obsession? Cane + Austin Retexturizing Treatment Padss, which have glycol acid to exfoliate and undo some of the post-summer pigmentation. Oh, and did I mention they kind of tingle? Love!

Try a creamy cleanser: Not to harp on the dry-skin thing, but fall is also a great time of year to switch out your summer shine-fighting face wash for something creamier and gentler. Creamier formulas ditch dirt and makeup while preserving my skin's limited supply of natural oils. If you still get shiny, try using a creamy formula in the AM and your shine-fighting version at night. Right now, I'm loving Burt's Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser, which has clary sage to help skin hold on to moisture.
