There's no use crying over bad hair days--do something about them! We've tracked down the best miracle-working products and tapped L'Oréal Professionnel hairstylist Joseph DiMaggio to share his insider tips. Go forth, armed with new knowledge, and enjoy gorgeous hair!

HAIR DOWNER#1: NOT ENOUGH TIME FOR A PROPER BLOWOUT
DiMaggio's Tip: To cut down on drying time, DiMaggio says to hold off on using a brush. "Apply product and then 'power dry' about 80 percent with just your hands and a quality dryer, then throw a brush in there."

Our Picks: Oscar Blandi's Pronto Invisible Pronto Wet Instant Shampoo and Conditioner, which speeds up drying time.

    HAIR DOWNER #2: STATIC-Y HAIR
DiMaggio's Tip: "A couple pumps from our Mythic Oil will tame any frizz problem in seconds. Just apply 2-3 pumps to your hand and distribute throughout the hair. A little goes a long way and unlike other serums and oils it's not heavy at all."

Our Pick: For an easy home remedy, run a dryer sheet over hair to calm it down after removing static-inducing scarves and sweaters.

    HAIR DOWNER #3: UNRULY CURLS
DiMaggio's Tip: DiMaggio recommends investing in quality products, which are less likely to leave hair dry and damaged-a huge cause of unruly and frizzy curls.

Our Picks: We love Miss Jessie's Original Super Slip Sudsy Shampoo and Crème de la Crème Conditioner. Both are extra moisturizing so they'll keep hair in check. For frizzy curls that need more definition, use Miss Jessie's Original Curly Meringue, which won't weigh down curly texture.

    HAIR DOWNER #4: FLAT HAIR
DiMaggio's Tip: If you're starting from scratch with freshly washed hair, DiMaggio has a few tips. He says, "I love using a curl mousse for my big blowouts. It adds a little more memory and hold that's needed in big hair." He says to dry hair almost completely, focusing on drying the roots straight up. "Drying the roots up is key," DiMaggio says, "That's where your volume comes from."

Our Pick: If your hair falls half way through the day, use a dry shampoo like Lulu Organics Hair Powder to refresh hair and add a little texture.

    HAIR DOWNER #5: DULL COLOR
DiMaggio's Tip: To refresh hair, DiMaggio says to "finish with a very light mist of L'Oréal Professionnel Perfect Shimmer for added shine" after styling.

Our Pick: Although we like to prevent color fading with our favorite protecting shampoo and conditioner, you can also revive hair with a glossing mask. Our favorite right now? Gloss Moderne High-Gloss Masque. It conditions and smooths hair for a shiny finish. Five minutes in the shower is all it takes.
