1. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Cream Shadow, Long-Wear Eye Pencil, and Intensifying Long-Wear Mascara
Stay-put claim: 12 hours for the shadow and liner, 16 hours for the mascara.
Reality check: "I rub my eyes a lot, and the shadow hung on, but creased by lunch. The liner and mascara stuck around until bedtime without so much as a smudge." --Meredith Rollins, executive editor

2. Maybelline New York SuperStay 14HR Lipstick.
Stay-put claim: 14 hours.
Reality check: "This creamy lipstick didn't feel at all drying, but when I checked my lips at the end of the workday, they looked a tad flaky. Still, the color was gorgeously bright and survived three meals, including a messy, multi-napkin croque monsieur." --Kayleigh Donahue, beauty editor

3. Rimmel London Lasting Finish 25-Hour Foundation.
Stay-put claim: 25 hours.
Reality check: "It held up all day without caking, and made my blush last longer too. By the next morning it had faded--luckily, not onto my pillows. But really, who needs a foundation that lasts overnight?"
