    The MTV Movie Awards proved to be a playground for Tangerine Tango, Pantone's Color of the Year. Julianne Hough, for instance, chose a sparkling metallic orange eye shadow above and below her lids, and paired it with a soft pink gloss on the lips. Charlize Theron went for a shimmery peach shade, which added a bit of glitz and glimmer to her otherwise natural makeup palette. For Leighton Meester, her love affair with tangerine didn't just stop with the eyes, as the star also wore the bright shade on her lips and cheeks.

    If the first half of the year is any indication, expect to see this fiery shade on red carpets everywhere well into the holiday season.
