The down-to-earth fashion maven gets her arches threaded by Reisma Monterio at Perfect Shape, a small shop inside the Rockefeller Center underground concourse in NYC. "She only charges $8, but whatever she charged, I would pay because she's like an artist. She knows how to balance your face," she states. "I hate going down there, but it's worth it. I literally feel three years younger after-it lifts and brightens my face."

Roy does not favor lip gloss. "After the age of 16, it's not appropriate," she states. "I have long hair, I'm tall, and I love eye makeup. At some point, I have to edit myself." But she does like bright lipsticks at night, especially Tom Ford pink lippies and NARS Velvet Matt Lip Pencil in Red Square. "It's matte, which looks very modern. And if I do a navy, smoky eye, then I love pink lips, because it reminds me of Brigitte Bardot. I channel a little sex kitten."

    Her Eye-Shadow Palette

The cover of Roy's first eye-shadow palette is an image of an evil eye, the same symbol on her bracelets. "Spirituality is so important to me," she says. "All of the shadows are named after things that bring good energy. Everything I make has intent behind it-even if it's just a dress that reminds you how great life can be because you feel good in it."

Ted Gibson has been chopping Roy's locks since 2008. "He's such a teddy bear and a genuine, honest, and kind person," she gushes. "He goes with whatever I'm feeling and makes it more refined and European, like my current sexy, bed-head style."

The natural beauty does not color her tresses and only has them washed once a week by her hairstylist. "It looks better when it's a little bit dirty," she says. To hold her 'do in place, she relies on cult-favorite hairspray, L'Oreal Paris Elnett. "I don't have thick hair, but I do have lots of fine strands," she explains. "This spray gives my hair weight, but it feels light."

    Her Eyes

    Rachel Roy Eyes

Roy may have been blessed with gorgeous, exotic peepers, but she sure knows how to enhance them. "I make my eyes look bigger by taking a pencil or a wet eyeliner and [sweeping it] upward and outward," she says. "For smoky eyes at night, I can get the same look using dark eye shadows, but the line won't be as sharp."

When it comes to eyelashes, she relies on false strips by Modlash and New Look. "It makes me feel happier, more awake, and younger," she explains. She also uses Estée Lauder TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara. "This mascara gets my lashes looking as close to the fake ones as possible. I apply it on both sides of my top lashes, and then I do the bottom."
