A Review of Moisture Replenisher Shampoo by Infusium 23

Infusium 23 Moisture Replenish Shampoo

One thing that I've become since going natural is really paranoid about what goes in my hair. I've spent over a year treating my hair with kid gloves while growing out the relaxer. Now that's it's au naturale, my curls are very picky and, after learning the hard way, there are certain products my hair does not like, such as those that contain too many harsh chemicals, alcohol, sulfates, and petroleum. What it loves is anything that will not only give it the moisture it needs but help keep it there, even in a shampoo. That's the concept behind Infusium 23's Moisture Replenisher line and I had the opportunity to review the shampoo. It isn't the sulfate free type of cleanser I normally use but it promises to nourish my hair while getting clean and free of build up. I also heard great things about their leave in conditioner from the natural hair community so I gave a try and I've been using it for a few weeks now.

I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! With one lather, my curls were clean cutting through the days of leave in conditioner and other styling products I used. It also worked great in washing out my new bi-weekly mayo and egg treatments (which can get really messy!) , with just a quarter size of product getting the job done. I also loved the fact that it didn't dry out my hair , leaving it soft and very manageable. I did get a little of that squeakiness feeling when rinsing it out, which could spell frizz central so I only lathered once. In the end though my hair was clean, moisturized, and easy style. Though I love my current shampoo, this one will definitely be used after my protein treatments for sure!

Have any of you ladies tried out this shampoo or the leave in? I think that's going to be my next buy once my other conditioners run out. :)
