Zooey Deschanel couldn't be more excited to use her fame (and incredible hair!) for a great cause. As the face of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Collection, she encourages people to cut and donate their hair to be turned into real-hair wigs for the American Cancer Society Wig Banks.
"Being a 'Pantene girl' has been a dream of mine since I was a little kid," says Zooey. "The products are fantastic and Pantene also supports the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program which is a wonderful cause. Pantene is helping to provide confidence and beautiful real-hair wigs to women who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment. You can't put a price on that."
In terms of her own hair, Zooey starts with a general shape that she likes and then uses that as a jumping off point to have fun.
"My style is a mix between what it is now and when I first got my haircut when I was two. I've had the same basic haircut," says Zooey. "I like having long hair and I like having bangs so I'll experiment within that, I also know this kind of hair flatters my face."
