I enjoy researching my genealogy, reading, writing and spending time with my husband, dog named Tippy, daughter and her family. I am a member of Zachary (LA) United Methodist Church and enjoy singing in the choir. I am also the Church Historian - serving the Church's "Ministry of Memory" so we may continue to learn from our past and anticipate our future. My educational background is a Bachelor of Science in Historic Preservation. I have been a genealogist since 1977. It seems strange writing about ME, instead of my WORK. That is one big adjustment one makes when they retire. I am a sister, wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and a supporter of my church, public radio and public television. I am a creative person who enjoys photo editing in Photoshop CS2, videography, photography, writing and researching on the computer. I guess the above is my new profile. continue to learn from our past and anticipate our future. My pace is much slower but the quality of life is good.
