    You don't know how handy a good side table is until you're living without one. As a new-apartment dweller, I have reached dire straights when it comes to the stuff I have knocked over and spilled because I don't have a great little table to place my cold drink or my stack of magazines. If you need to get stuff off the floor (like me), these little guys are braced and ready to hold even the heaviest of summer reads.

    San Francisco's Rose and Radish is one of the most unique stores on the west coast. Every three months, the gallery-esque shop showcases select pieces from an assortment of designers, all unified by a theme. One of their recent shows featured the adorable hand crafted egg cups of Berlin's Hut Up, designed to keep freshly cooked eggs nice and hot while your brunch guests ooh and aah over your charming centerpieces and artfully mismatched dinnerware. (You certainly wouldn't go to the trouble of buying designer egg cozies and not gussying up the rest of your table, would you?)
