  • Biking to work

By Jasmine, on Fri Jun 27, 2008 7:44am PDT

Well I always thought it would be too hard but I did it twice this week. I rode my bike into work! I live about 12 miles away and Wednesday I rode the whole way. Today (Friday) I drove 5 miles closer to work and parked at my co-worker's house and we rode in together. It all started because Wednesday was Denver's anual "Bike to work day". It was great. There were four of us together on Wednesday and we saw a bunch of others participating as well. I rode in again today and I feel great. I think this will be a normal thing for me once or twice a week from now on. I really enjoyed it and I never thought I would. I'm glad I tried it! Read More »

  • Just so busy!

By Jasmine, on Wed Jun 18, 2008 11:15am PDT

I know that life just doesn't stop but I feel so busy all the time lately. Here is what I have on my plate for the next couple of months: two Engineering classes for my job (since they're in the summer they're condensed so it's double the work over half the time!), 40hour/week... Read More »

By Jasmine, on Tue Jun 3, 2008 12:03pm PDT

I came up with the perfect solution for those spinach, ketchup, wine, etc. stains on your white blouse. Find the reddest shirt you've ever seen, stick it in with all the white shirts that have stains on them, wash on the hottest setting your washer has and... Tada! You have a brand new pink... • Rash from Aveda Pure-Fume

By Jasmine, on Tue May 20, 2008 9:48am PDT

I received a postcard in the mail from Aveda for a free bottle of their Pure-Fume (I guess you would call it a perfume but I think they have other products in this line). I went in, smelled the oils and the one I liked they put drops of it in a small perfume spray bottle already stocked with a clear... Read More »

  • More Organizing

By Jasmine, on Mon May 19, 2008 10:53am PDT

This weekend we made some good progress: Mowing the lawn, pulling lots of weeds, and tackling the dining room. My main goal was to have a dining table, not a catch all clutter table. My husband and I went through lots of stuff. It was sorted into different boxes; the 14 bankers boxes we had stacked... Read More »

  • Looking for inspiration

By Jasmine, on Thu May 15, 2008 11:43am PDT

A friend and I have been working on a new business idea for the past four months. We were very "gung-ho" about it when we started and then things began to fizzle. It would take very little money to start up which was one of the things that we both were happy about. We have no formal... Read More »
